Ubuntu in VPS
With all of our Linux VPS, you're able to decide on the Ubuntu Operating System from the order page. We are aware of the fact that some pieces of software have certain requirements in terms of the Operating System they're set up on, and you can select from the 32-bit and the 64-bit release of Ubuntu. You can also select if your VPS should include our Hepsia Control Panel or no Control Panel at all. In the first case, you will find everything you'll need pre-installed - MySQL, email server, FTP, etc. software, and you will be able to do everything by using your Internet browser, but the root access is restricted; whereas in the second case, you'll get Ubuntu as well as the Apache server software only, so you can set up anything freely due to the full root access which you'll be given, however the server management tasks will be done using a console. Our administrators can monitor your VPS and upgrade the Ubuntu setup on a weekly basis if you add the optional Managed Services bundle which we offer.
Ubuntu in Dedicated Hosting
You can get Ubuntu with all of our dedicated server plans, considering that we offer 32-bit and 64-bit versions of this Operating System. Thus, you're able to choose the more appropriate of them, based on the type of apps which you would like to install and run and on the system requirements they have about the OS. You will have root-level access to the server, which gives you full control over the software setting. We'll set up only the Apache web server software, therefore you can add anything else you will need, even when it is not related directly to Internet sites, such as a VOIP server, for example. You will be able to control everything through a console, yet if you want, you can also set up a website hosting Control Panel, as long as it's compatible with Ubuntu. If you order our optional Managed Services bundle, we will maintain your Operating System up-to-date on a weekly basis and will make sure that you have the latest software packages for a stable and risk-free server environment.
